The Seiko SSC947 is a Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph, named for Seiko's historic Speedtimer chronographs. Light powers the movement, so there is no battery to swap, and the chronograph times events to 1/5 of a second.

This Special Edition Special Edition features a gold-tone dial with black subdials. Inside is the Seiko solar caliber V192, charged by any light source, running about six months on a full charge, with a 1/5-second chronograph to 60 minutes and a power-reserve indicator. You also get a 39mm case, sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance and stainless steel bracelet.

The SSC947 is currently sold out online. Call any Chicago Clock showroom in Clarendon Hills (431 E Ogden Ave), Orland Park (14486 LaGrange Rd) and Palatine (1615 N Rand Rd) to ask about incoming stock or a comparable Seiko. We have been family-owned since 1917, and we service Seiko watches.
