This “Tropical Lagoon” Special Edition features a turquoise gradient dial with LumiBrite on hands, markers and bezel. Inside is the Seiko caliber 4R36 automatic with hand-winding, hacking seconds, day/date display and about 41 hours of power reserve. You also get a 45mm case, Hardlex crystal, 200m water resistance and stainless steel bracelet.

The SRPJ35 is currently sold out online. Call any Chicago Clock showroom in Clarendon Hills (431 E Ogden Ave), Orland Park (14486 LaGrange Rd) and Palatine (1615 N Rand Rd) to ask about incoming stock or a comparable Seiko. We have been family-owned since 1917, and we service Seiko watches.

FAQ

What movement is in the Seiko SRPJ35?

The SRPJ35 runs on the Seiko caliber 4R36 automatic with hand-winding, hacking seconds, day/date display and about 41 hours of power reserve.

Is the Seiko SRPJ35 water resistant?

Yes. It carries a 200-meter diver's rating, so it handles swimming, snorkeling and recreational scuba. Keep the screw-down crown fully closed in the water.

Why do collectors call this Seiko a “Turtle”?

The nickname comes from the rounded cushion case first used on Seiko's 1976 divers, which looks like a turtle shell from the side. It is a collector nickname; Seiko lists these models as Prospex Automatic Divers.

Is the Seiko SRPJ35 still available?

It is sold out at Chicago Clock right now. Call a showroom to check incoming stock. In-stock alternatives in the same family: SRPE05, SRPK01.
