FAQ

What movement is in the Seiko SRPL13?

The SRPL13 runs on the Seiko caliber 4R35 automatic with hand-winding, hacking seconds, date display and about 41 hours of power reserve.

Is the Seiko SRPL13 water resistant?

Yes. It carries a 200-meter diver's rating, so it handles swimming, snorkeling and recreational scuba. Keep the screw-down crown fully closed in the water.

Why is this Prospex called the “Samurai”?

Collectors gave the angular, blade-like case that nickname when the design first appeared. Seiko lists the model as a Prospex Automatic Diver.

Is the Seiko SRPL13 still available?

It is sold out at Chicago Clock right now. Call a showroom to check incoming stock. In-stock alternatives in the same family: SRPL11.
